On the 8th of June 2026, AutoMoTIF project was represented by John Kanellopoulos (I-SENSE Group/ICCS) at IPIC 2026 in Bordeaux, France, where the project joined its sister project AutoSUP in the session “Automation in Logistics: Where We Stand – Evidence from Horizon Europe Projects Towards End-to-End Adoption.”
Together with AutoSUP and the SEAMLESS project, the session explored the current state of logistics automation, addressing key topics including interoperability, multimodal orchestration, scalability, replication, governance, and the remaining challenges to large-scale deployment.
Participation in IPIC 2026 provided an important opportunity to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaboration among Horizon Europe projects, and contribute to the advancement of smart, connected, and sustainable logistics.
